Let’s get straight to the clickbait cause that title ain’t clickbait. The Pro-Life Movement is anti-Christ in its most fundamental reason for being. When I say “anti-Christ” I’m not talking about a fictional character in a hokey end times movie. I’m talking about the spirit that has infused the entire movement since its conception just a few short decades ago. Notice I said the movement, not an individual’s beliefs about embryos or the beginning of life or when it is or is not acceptable to terminate a pregnancy. The Pro-Life Movement is the very embodiment of the spirit of anti-christ for the very reason the Pro-Life Movement exists: to force those outside of conservative Christianity to adhere to the beliefs of conservative Christianity.
Thank you for this. With regards to the beginning of the “Pro-life” movement, this is entirely consistent with the writings of Frank Schaeffer, a former Evangelical who was part of the team of conservative Christians who helped usher in this “issue” to ensure the voting base would remain when race no longer had that power for Republicans.
I'm a Republican who believe in women's rights to choose. Maybe if people made better choices in life we wouldn't be taking sides. I believe it started with all that free love back in the 60s. LOL
Zack, your eloquence is only matched by your ability to synthesize important thoughts, and to clearly call out the B.S.. You are a bright light in the world. THANK YOU for giving us voice!
The soteriology of most evangelical Christians is that those babies who die in the womb or from abortion go to heaven while the vast majority of adults (everyone but them) will go to eternal conscious torment in hell.
Think about just how perverse then, it is for Christians to work towards the goal of millions more being eternally lost (according to their own theology).
Thank you for telling it like it is
Thank you for keeping our focus on the real issue.
Well said my friend
Let’s have a conversation sometime about the adoption side of this.

Lots to ponder about. Well worth a read.
